I spent over 15 years building websites, mostly in WordPress, mostly for organizations. Corporate sites, hospital pages, nonprofits, professional associations. A lot of the work was ongoing maintenance: keeping things updated, fixing what broke, making sure nothing embarrassing was sitting on the homepage.
But the more I worked with home service businesses, the more clearly I saw a gap. Skilled tradespeople were getting left behind online. Handymen, plumbers, electricians, general contractors. The best ones had nothing but a Facebook page. The ones who tried DIY builders ended up with something that looked half-finished. And the ones who hired agencies paid thousands for sites that weren't built with their trade in mind and were forgotten the moment the project closed.
